The Gamebro handheld
Main Post:
I’ve been intrigued by these things for a little while. This seems half legit and looks like it has some decent games. Does anyone have any experience with one? Would love to know your thoughts.
Here is a link to the official website;

Top Comment: Pre-installed games put this whole category of devices at risk I don't know about that particular one, but it looks expensive compared to other options in the market. Look for Anbernic consoles, they have lots of different form factor consoles and they should be able to play everything this "Gamebro" plays. The Anbernic RG35XX H, which I have and love, costs 56€right now on the official Anbernic Aliexpress store. For all your retro emulation handheld needs, I highly suggest you check "Retro Game Corps" on Youtube.
Looking for this Gen's "Frat-Bro" games
Main Post:
Context: Back in the PS3 era, gaming kicked off in a way that a lot of people still miss. And a lot of these games started getting a reputation, getting associated with frat boys, "gamer bros" and the type of guys who'd drink beer while saying "You dude, this shit is so lit" while wearing very tight t-shirts.
Of course, that's just a reputation, as these games are still beloved by many outside the demographic. Games in this type of group were Call of Duty Modern Warfare Trilogy, Gears of War, God of War, Fifa, Resistance, etc.
To make this story short, I kinda missed that era, and all I see are older versions of those bros complaining that gaming isn't the same nowadays, since gaming doesn't cater to them. But I think that's probably not a right assessment. Like, there must be something these types of gamers are playing nowadays.
So, in short, which games are being played by dude-bros ans frat boys nowadays?
Top Comment: The new EA Sports college football game is huge. Helldivers and space marine 2 fit the aesthetic you are describing but they appeal more to a geeky crowd. Sports games and call of duty I would assume are still the most popular. Although I knew some people in fraternities who were very into Fortnite and rocket league. Competitive multiplayer games mostly.
Could someone link me some of the games used in Bro vs Bro.

Split screen games for me and my bro
Main Post:
Howdy,
Recently my bro has been getting into gaming and wants to play games with me. I am a PC gamer so I don't really know much about local coop. Could you guys recommend some good split screen games that we could play? All the ones I am finding are arcade like and he's not really into that. He's enjoys levelling up characters, looting, making a base and earning money. So far he's liked Borderlands, Red Dead, Outer Worlds and State Of Decay so anything similar would be grand.
I'd appreciate any help you can give. Ta!

Wtf is young-Il`s mission bro? How does it all make any sense?
Main Post:
Alright, I think the season goes in an interesting direction. I expected it to be way less exciting. But there are so many things which feels like plot holes or straight up nonsense to me. Or maybe some people here can explain things in a way these things make sense.
- The organization makes the impression of being much more careless than in Season 1. Some would believe they learned by their mistakes in Season 1. But no, even the recruiter goes crazy this time, risking a lot of things in their operation. At least they don't seem to care about the "Mask law" for some reason anymore. Nobody gets executed for showing their identity (Maybe this was indeed due the changes because of the cop guy hiding himself in a mask). Did they ever tell why they can comfortably run around without masks now?
- Why is Gi Hun so important? Why do they let him get away with everything? Except for the plotarmor of course. He is sticking his nose way too deep in their organization. Some would believe winner or not, they would make people like that vanish in thin air. Yes maybe its just arrogance, because they feel like they always have the upper hand anyway. But why is the frontman giving him so much attention? Maybe because he was like Gi Hun once in the past? Maybe because did not touch his money for so long? Even at the end of Season 2. Bro why don't you just kill him? What are you trying to teach a single individual and for what reason? Why is it SO important for you what a seemingly random winner thinks? Is it his connection to Illnam?
- Young I`ll bro, wtf are you doing? I mean lets say he actually had a back out plan for every single game similar to illnam, his participation in the games still kinda made little sense to me Why did he ever let it escalate that much? He could have easily prevented them all to get the guns in the first place, because he knew about the plan. It was interesting to have him join the games, but kinda made little sense to me that the frontman hid himself among the peasants to help these people out which are seemingly just parasites to him. I was between "Bro wants to sabotage" to "Is bro actually trying to help Gi Hun?" to "What is Bros freakin mission dude?!". There are so many why ́s. Is he maybe as twisted as illnam and is just having some fun?. He could have stopped them before they ever reached the management room. Things got way too dangerous for a little "fun". And I don ́t even know if Bro is having any fun at all. He meanacily staring into peoples souls, then the next second he cries, then laughs, then cries again after killing the friends of Gi Hun in the management room. like are you okay bro? And if he HAD a back out, that would mean the workers actually know how the Frontman looks like and what his real identity is?
- The whole voting thing made little sense. I mean its generally a thing in squid game. They are playing a game of dead or alive and so many actually vote circle one game after another?. Even if all of them are financially broken, I have a hard time believing that there would be so many people with balls of steel who would just continue playing like they are not witnessing a massacre game after game. Trauma and ptsd simply do not exist in Squid game. But lets put that aside. Overpowering tons of armed soldiers?! with a little team of non trained guys having no idea at all how to operate weapons?! seriously?! Like the floor scene where they killed all soldiers without a single death on their side. Come on, that's just ridiculous. I don't believe that they just hire Fortnite Bots as Triangle soldiers. Yes they had some ex marines, ex military, Gi Hun had some training but come on, there were WAAAY too many soldiers to push through in an labyrinth nobody really knows about. And most importantly, why would ANYONE join the fight? Why would they risk the jackpot? You just won so many games and if you win the next vote and survive the night, you will go home with a huge bunch of money. Why would they switch from "Yeah lets get out with that money" to "fk this all, fk the money, let us all kill the frontman like its not a big deal at all" just because Gi Hun says so?
- Really bro? Stabbing people to death with a blunt fork? They casually turn into John Wick in this series.
Top Comment: He’s trying to screw with Gi-Hun, and show him that people don’t change. That’s the same thing the Recruiter was doing, during the bread and lottery experiment. Gi-Hun is an idealist, and if Young-Il simply prevented him from getting the weapons in the first place, Gi-Hun would continue to believe that he can change the system, and keep trying to do so. By allowing the assault on the security room to take place, the Front Man was able to fake his own death to leave the game, while at the same time, making Gi-Hun believe he is responsible for the deaths of everyone who participated in the riots, including his best friend, and (he believes) Young-Il himself. It will be interesting to see how it affects him in season 3.
bro did NOT get a script 😭

Top Comment: So Thanos was very difficult for me, and that's a credit to the actor. He was simultaneously the most deplorable guy in the season (old man withstanding) but was also the most enjoyable character. The oscillation between, "I can't fucking stand this guy." and "This guys awesome." can give a person whiplash. Just very well performed to illicit such a strong reaction in both ways. EDIT: I hadn't listened when I posted, but the music for this montage is incredibly well selected.
I'm bored, so give me ideas on what Sonic game I should play.

Top Comment: Marketing team and they use same strategy as any other mobile company. You have all this ads on every website showing some mobile game and it’s nothing like real game. The worst part is that it works, those games are in top charts with milion of downloads, even with fake advertisements
